HISTORY OF OUR COMPANY

In 1980, Brian and Debra Buswell purchased Norwalk Lumber.  Both Brian and Debbie were just 24 years old.  At this time, Norwalk Lumber had one full time associate and one part time associate.  In 1983, Todd Page, who was employed by a Big Eight accounting firm and who was doing the year-end books, became part owner.  This same year Norwalk Lumber purchased Thiftway Lumber in Black River Falls, became incorporated, and changed its name to All American Lumber.  Todd Page became vice president and Brian L. Buswell became president.  In 1994 a new store, All American Do It Center, was built in Tomah, Wisconsin.  Ernie Nicholas and Tammy Bolcerek became part owners in following years.  In 2004 a new home center was built in Sparta, Wisconsin.  All American has grown from 3 associates to over 70 associates today.
